"Simple, Clean, Economical, Accommodating and in a Perfect Location"
The Hotel, newly renovated, is in a prime location. It is a 3 minute walk, at the most to the main cultural attractions of Istanbul such as Hagia Sofia, The Blue Mosque, The Topkapi Palace, The Arasta Bazzaar, Mosaic Museum and several other museums. This is a realy nice hotel and economical and clean. It has a good location is on a quiet backstreet near shopping and good restaurants. This hotel is in a suprising quiet location. The Hotel is a short walk also to the Tram that takes you over to Beyoglu and Taksim Square with the use of the Tunul to Taksim, a bustling energized part of Istanbul, where the action is. Taxis are always available , even late into the night. Make sure you have a card for the hotel, and know the address as the taxis had trouble finding the hotel , late at night and many of the taxi drivers.do not know English. It is economical and very clean... I recommend it highly. Breakfast was simple, tradiitonal and very good and gratis.

"Perfect for a woman traveling with her 15 year old daughter"
I was apprehensive about traveling in Turkey with my 15 year old daughter, but we felt very safe at this hotel and safe walking in the neighborhood in the evening. The location was perfect-- very close to the Blue Mosque (2 minute walk), St. Sophia, Topkapi Palace, etc. Room is small, but all hotels in Europe seem to have small rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke English. I LOVED the breakfast buffet! Very good value.

We stayed at for 3 nights in Agu 2010. The hotel is newly renovated and was very clean. It's in a great location just minutes away from the major sites in Sultanahmet. The breakfast buffet had good variety and the buffet area was quiant. Free wi-fi is always a bonus. This hotel has a lot going for it and the service was wonderful.

I stayed for one week with a friend. The staff were always most courteous and willing to help. My friend and I had a friend that lived in another part of Istanbul that would come to hotel to meet with us and the staff were also most hospitable to her as well. Upon our arrival, we requested to change our room for two separate beds and they immediately helped us change rooms. Also, our reservation was somewhat complicated with different parties coming and going, overlapping and such; this was never an issue for the hotel. They were understanding and accommodated our needs seamlessly.

The room was clean and well-appointed. There was also free wifi access throughout the hotel. Breakfast was great with a variety of fresh fruits, cheeses, olives, eggs, and other western style fare. The hotel is also perfectly located in Sultanahmet and very close to the major sites of the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and the palace.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely and I fully recommend it to everyone wanting to stay in the old city.
